8 x 0.25mi @ 5:30 w/1:25 recovery + warmup & cooldown.
I did the repeats on the loop behind the Brentwood library. It's a little over 0.25mi, but it was nice having some idea of how much farther I had to run without having to look at my watch.
I intended to run all of the repeats at 5:40 pace, but they were all faster. I still faded a little from a 4:59 for my first to a 5:30 for my last. That sounds like a huge gap, but my second through eighth repeats were all within 5 seconds of each other, which isn't a bad variance.
