I took it easy because my legs still felt sluggish after Tom King. I intentionally skipped Wednesday running, and then I forgot to bring shorts on Thursday. But since my legs still felt sore after two days of non-running, I thought a slow, easy day would be best.
Running Tom King may have been a mistake. It basically wasted this entire week on recovery. RBB 5K is next weekend, so I really need to get in some long, fast intervals this weekend. And Purity 10K is three weeks away. This may not work out as well as I wanted. I should have just done the Tom King 5K. I'd only done a couple of runs over 10 miles all year, so doing the Half was stupid. Stupid winter.
