Fleet Feet Summer Speed Sessions. We're halfway through the sessions, so today we did our second 1 mile time trial.
Warmup: 1.25 mi progressive, static and dynamic stretches, 2 x 200 fast w/200 jog.
Workout: 1 mile time trial - 5:31.
Cooldown: 1.5 miles easy.
My quarter mile splits according to SportTracks: 1:19, 1:25, 1:26, 1:20. I wish I'd hit the lap button manually each time, so I could have watched each lap's pace separately. I was effectively just watching average pace, which wasn't as dynamic.
I also wish I'd had someone running out in front of me. Graham Stoner started late, so I had to lead the main group. (Stoner started after everyone else finished, and he ran a 5:09.)
