1st place in the Bridge to Bridge 4 mile race! 98 degrees, with a heat index of 106! Fun stuff. Very hilly! 6 total hills. I went out in 5:03 just to try to break away from everybody then I slowed down a lot. I really didn't have anybody to run against and just the heat/wind/and hills made it very difficult. Ran 22:19, slow, but probably couldn't have gone much faster. Definitely felt like I was going to throw up after the first mile (BBQ sandwich) but overall it was very fun and you gotta love getting the win! Especially on vacation!
