I'm very bias but I feel Pocahontas County might be the best place on the east coast to train. There is so many hidden gems of runs once you get in the mountains on the forest roads. We're getting ready to move but we still won't be too far away, if you ever pass back through let me know if you want any company on a GRT run.

Dude! It truly is! There are so many trails and the GRT is awesome. Haha I definitely will. We drove through Green Bank and I was wondering if you still lived there.

We're still here in Green Bank! Moving in the next 2-3 weeks as I accepted a full-time college coaching position in the state (should be officially announced this coming week). We probably will long term buy a little place in Pocahontas County. Down the road we will have to plan a meet up for a training weekend in the county if so. I can so you some unreal mountain climbs to some beautiful views!

BTW I saw through facebook (I think) that you will be the assistant at MU this year!! Awesome!!!

Nice! Yeah, actually I ran into Josh Feather at Cass and he told me about your new job! Congratulations! Yeah, I definitely love the area. I think the Highland Scenic Highway would be a fun run.

Thanks! I'm excited to get started! I think it's going to be a really fun job.

Thanks man! It's crazy that Feather is living here, I'm hoping to get a short run with him Thursday. I have ran every mile (both ways) on the Scenic Highway--you would love it--especially if you could on it during fall peak colors! We will have to see if we both have the same free weekend this fall and try to meet up there! I might actually head that way tomorrow now for a long run! :)
