26.51 on my watch.
Rained the entire time but winds weren't too bad. caught up to Lepage about 1k in and then left the group in the second mile. Ran solo the rest of the way. Saw a guy about 200m behind me at the halfway point, so I picked it up a little bit to try and gap him. Legs were getting tired towards the end but effort level was always moderate. Was hoping to sneak under 2:25:59 to get the $250 time bonus but ran a little faster than planned but it netted a $500 time bonus. Estimate I could have run at least 10 seconds a mile faster.
