Ran a semi warm-up and ran down the bottom of New Hope and back. The elevation profile makes the course look like a bowl and it had some long hills. I ran down pretty relaxed and had to hold back on some of the downhills. At the turn-around, I tried to push it some and really struggled on a long/steep hill in the 8th mile. I opened up a little bit towards the end but tried to not go much over a.t. effort so I could keep it mainly aerobic and work on my strength. Pretty tough run and I was tired at the end.
