80+60. Ran this around noon, so it was really sunny and my bald head got sunburned.
Plan was 6400m progression, starting just under 5:10 and working to sub 5:00.
Went out in 74 and it felt good but I didn't want to yo-yo the pace for a few laps, so I hung just under 5:00 pace. It was very controlled, even though it was warm and windy. I decided to add some 400s afterward but since it felt so easy, I felt guilty and added another mile.
After yesterday's garbage run, I wasn't sure how this would go but my legs were fresh and I felt very good.
200s were semi-controlled but they felt faster. Back in the day, I could close those babies out in 26 after a workout. But I guess that shows I've changed my engine.
