Was planning on running 2x6:30, 4x6:05, 4x5:40 but I went out too fast and had some trouble finding the pace. I ended up changing on the fly and my three segments were: (6:19, 6:19, 6:18, 6:08), (6:01, 6:02, 6:06), (5:39, 5:39, 5:37). I felt like I was just jogging until the last three and even though the aerobic effort was easy, my hamstrings felt the hills over the last three miles. I also dropped off two 10 oz. orange Gatorades in the ditch and drunk those at 3ish/7ish. It took me about 4/10 of a mile to drink each bottle and I spilt a good bit while trying to drink them. It wasn't too bad in my stomach but towards the end, I got a slight stitch on my right side and in my shoulder. I added a little over 1/8 teaspoon of low sodium salt to the mixture, which seemed to work better. I'll experiment a little bit with different flavors, the mix kind and some gels.
