Notes
GPS read 3.19 but it was a certified course. It started in the Streets of Indian Like and you ran down Saundersville for a while, turned around and came back in. They only blocked off one lane on Saundersville, so you couldn't run the tangents very well.
1st mile: started out slow since some young kids took off and after a quarter or so, I took the lead. Watch was in the mid 4:30s for most of this and lost a little time on a gradual hill
2nd mile: wanted to break 15, so tried to push up the long, gradual hill but I could tell I was slowing down.
3rd mile: Took advantage of the downhill and was sub 4:30 pace for almost half of the mile (according to the GPS). Once we went back into the Streets, I tried to not lose time on a long, slight hill and started hurting some on that section. Once I saw I was going to break 15, I relaxed some.
Good run. Had to keep reminding myself to stay focused.
