Notes
Goodness that was a battle. Goal was 3 hours on my feet on a hilly course. Turned off the pace and only looked at the time. Would have thought I could have squeezed in a couple of more miles but when I started at 5am it was 79 and 162% humidity. August mornings are more pleasurable. I was lucky to have a running buddy with me the first hour but I missed meeting up with some other folks and had to run the last 2 hours alone, with no music. Just me and the sweat.
It's done. 2 more weeks until the trail marathon and then I don't plan on running for 3 hours again until cooler temps are the norm.
Feels good to have 50 miles in me by Friday though.
