Traditional MGP miles on Thursday. Thought about postponing until tomorrow since the Monday race (which I did in years prior) but the legs felt decent so decided to get it done so I could have an extra day of rest. Legs just still feel a bit beat up (as usual). Didn't look at the watch and the paces fell out a bit quick - take that as a good sign. Hammies/glutes tight but that is nothing new.
Been reducing the carbs the last couple of days and will continue today. then Friday/Sat/Sun will be back up to normal pre-marathon carb loading. Just sounded like a good thing to do.
