Austin Half Marathon went off in-person with a staggered start and a 2 month delay (no marathon). Beautiful morning - mid to upper 50s at the start - got a little warm towards the end but really good for late April. The staggered start was a little annoying - congested the entire way - getting to water stops around beginner runners was hard. Always passing. Found one guy that traded spots with me towards the end that helped me maintain focus but overall really wanted more people my pace to play with.
Good result - low 1:27 - right around what I was running a couple of years ago before the ankle injury. Strong finish as well.
