Met Colin, Frank, and Thomas early for a long run with a few hills mixed in. Pretty uneventful, slogging our way through the humidity until a runner tripped and fell around mile 12. He took a long time to come down, almost like slow motion, but when he did his head hit hard on the road. Pretty big bleeding contusion formed. We all walked for about a half mile watching him closely trying to figure out what to do. At the end he ended up running a shorter way home feeling ok. Hopefully someone will be there today observe him and watch out for any swelling.
