Great race this morning under perfect conditions (55, overcast) on a beautiful course. Grabbed a 3rd place Age Group (nice bottle of wine) and 26th overall (out of about 3,000). Should have PR'd (missed it by 35 secs) but lost focus for a couple of middle miles and let my pace slip just enough to make the difference. I was running with a few friends and relatives that made up a team under the Winery Challenge (Team Truchard) and I believe we placed first.
