It's been 4 long days off from running and plenty of ice. Wanted to see how the left calf feels so I tried it out with an extra slow pace. If felt much better - the acute pain has been replaced by a mild ache. I felt a very strong urge to keep running but decided to get home to the ice just in case and try again this weekend.
