Woke up to rain. Made my coffee, still raining. Drove downtown, still raining. Pulled up behind Colin and Capt Jim, still raining. Sat in the car discussing the rain. We finally decided to head and out and see how bad it was. Pretty much rained the entire route but it was those first couple of miles that were the hardest. Took a hilly route (Scenic, Mt Bonnell, Balcones) and pushed the pace here and there. My Garmin is officially a goner so I'm going old school and mapping out the routes after the fact. Days like this where I would have gone right back to bed if no one else was waiting for me. Can't complain about the rain too much - Austin desperately needs it.
