My mistress is weeping. As I entered, I was home, and I too wept with joy and with sorrow. But she was dark and quiet, broken and wet. And dirty. She felt different to me, somehow older, pained, even scared. But she was still there. She was there for me in my loss, and I was there for hers. My mistress hurts, but she made me feel good. And sad.
