Notes
Race went great. I crushed my previous best by 3 minutes & 16 seconds. The course was a little more hilly than I had anticipated but I was determined to meet me 1:50:00 goal. Few memorable moments. In one of the neighborhoods 3 little girls had their tent set up right on the parkway & it looked as if they had spent the night outside to make sure they didn't miss the runners. Around mile 7 there was a guy in his driveway playing his guitar. He had an entire song made up about the fact there were only 6 miles to go. Bad singer & goofy song...but it lifted my spirits. And finally sharing in the successes of my good friend Tom M. He kicked some serious ass out there. Although I was about brought to tears when he dumped out a FULL Sam Adams after the race :(. I would have drank it.
