About me:
I got tired of tracking my runs on two different websites. So my log is not current on this site. Please see homepage link. I am a single overweight asthmatic mother of tween twins. Just graduated from college and I plan to take the LSAT in October and apply to law school within the next two years. I love to ride my motorcycle. When I reach my goal weight and have a much stronger core I want to take a racing class. I also want to get into good enough shape to learn rick climbing and go backpacking.
Why do I run:
To remind me to care for myself. Remember where I came from. Increase my commitment to keeping off the weight I've lost and will continue to lose. To feel the air rush past my face and my legs feel lighter and to smile at the deer I pass along the way. Mostly, I run to find myself. Each time I run I feel myself coming a little more clear into view.
Why I started running:
I started running after quitting smoking, drinking obscene amounts of coffee and changing the way I ate. I had been successful losing weight with a low carb diet and exercise is an important part of that. Running is something I used to enjoy years ago; I knew in order to stay committed to exercise, it would have to be something I loved. I started with the C25K and ended the program much stronger than when I began running 7 years ago on my own. I also do P90 and hope it will help me become stronger both in my running but also my motorcycle riding.
