Did a variation of the Michigan workout today at Hinsdale South's track. You go 1600-1200-800-400 with 1 mile road tempos in between the set, all with about 3 min jog rest. On the 1600 I think that I stayed too cautious in terms of not going out too hard. The 1200 was not very good and I think that I just lost focus. Both the 800 and 400 were close to what I was hoping to hit for those parts of the workout. All of the road miles I think went well as I focused on just pushing through the interval and staying smooth with my form. Overall not a great workout but still a quality one that can be used to build off of in the future.
