About me: In January of 2006 I finally decided I'd had enough of feeling sick and tired, and began my weight-loss journey.
I was 47yrs old and 210+ pounds.
My first moments of running felt like they would or should be my last, but I kept going since I was determined to run a 5K in August.
I began the "Couch-to-5K" program and by week 6 abandoned it since I was already able to run 2 miles, non stop.
My first 5K wasn't fast and it wasn't pretty, but I kept on running, and today I run 1/2 marathons, trail runs and am training for my first marathon in Denver, October 2008.
