6 x 1 mile intervals at 10k pace alternated with 4 minutes rest. Solid effort in a tough workout. Started to feel some fatigue middle of fourth mile, but managed to keep pace steady in miles four and five by a slight increase in effort during the second half of those miles. Very tired for 6th interval, but was able to use short surges and a big increase in effort to keep mile in the 8:40s. Intervals were in line with target for Saturday's race of 8:45 to 8:50.
