Executed this workout about as well as possible at this point in training. Warm up mile was relaxed, comfortable, & pretty much an extension of last night's easy run. Felt strong and sharp during the warm up mile & this continued into the intervals. Hit "10k" effort & pace almost immediately in the first interval & then easily maintained it to the end of the interval with two very consistent miles. After a comfortable half mile recovery jog, I took the first half mile of the second interval a bit more conservatively. But I still had great control of effort & pace and was able to pick it up a bit in the second half mile & then again with 3/4s of a mile to go, leading to a very strong finish. The 3rd interval was virtually identical to the second interval. Felt some fatigue in the 2nd half of the last two intervals, but pushed right through it and the little bit of fatigue had no effect on effort or pace. Cool down mile was very easy effort after the tempo intervals. Overall this was a big improvement over the last time I ran this workout in January & at the time I thought the January workout was really good. Completed full set of exercise routines post run..
