Notes
Because the temp at the start of the run was low 50s & it was a little windy, I initially wore a long sleeve top & a light windbreaker. But I badly underestimated the strength of the full sun at 1 p.m. and by the first mile out I was really overheating. So for mile 2, I doubled back to my apartment & took a quick break to hydrate & change to a short sleeved shirt. When I restarted, I ran the same 2 mile loop twice, but decided to dial the pace down a notch. The effort over the last four miles was pretty consistent although a pesky headwind and a slight upgrade slowed the pace slightly in miles 4 & 6.
