Very strong run. Felt good in the two warm up miles. Then fell immediately into race pace. 1st half mile was 4:40 so I made very few adjustments the rest of the way. Just very consistent & steady. Cadence in the 178-180 range all 6 miles & the minor differences in pace probably had to do with negotiating traffic on the track. Last mile was very solid. Never felt during any of the race pace miles that I was pushing myself excessively. It was comfortably fast & I'm sure I could have several more miles at that pace & effort. Cool down was nice easy effort. Pedestal & Myrtl routine after the run. Still struggling a little at the 40 second mark with the side pedestals on the second set only.
