Maybe I should eat a smaller breakfast before a race! I had my usual LARGE bowl of oatmeal with walnuts and yogurt. I felt heavy and, for some of the race, felt like throwing up.
Had a nice (almost a) kick at the end.
I replaced watch time with the chip time. Watch time was 30:06.78. I am sure there was 2 or 3 sec before I got to the start and 1 or two after finish.
Needed to be 15 sec faster to get 3rd place in my division. Second place ran 7 min/mi and first ran 6:30's!
