Why I started running:
Ran in HS (miler and XC), but liked tennis and basketball more.
27 years later, my daughter ran school XC. I ran a little with her.
We moved to Valencia, Spain;I ran around the neighborhood. Some guys at work spotted me running, and asked me to run with the work Club de Athletismo. First run with them was 16k; I made it without much problem. Back the next week, then twice a week.
Then they invited me to a road race.
Finished a half marathon -- and I was hooked for life! |
