this was my first post surgery long-distance race. The temperature was good, but the humidity was a tad high. I met a lady from California (Jaime) and ran with her for the final 5 miles of the race. The last .8 was killer to the point that I did not want to go on. Thank goodness Bill (who walked back around mile 12 after he finished) and Jaime were there to spur me on!
