I won second place in my age group, and Bill won first in his age group. The disappointing factor is that I had to run with Aaron until Bill got done running his race. It took us 18 minutes to run the first mile, as Aaron laid his whold body down on the ground at one point and wouldn't get up until I picked him up. Bill ran the whole race in 20:01, so he came at mile 1.5 and got Aaron. I was able to run the last 1.6 miles at a speedy clip, but it was not enough to make up the extrememly long first mile time. So, the woman who won first in my age group won with a time that was slower than virually all my other 5 k times (except for the Striders picnic run). I may be scared for life over this :)
