Notes

Took four days off since race due to wicked calf pain in right leg. Did bike and swim on Tuesday. Looks like my next 4 Tuesdays I will have to miss the group run due to school board meetings :(.

Today should have been done on Tuesday, but oh well. Planned Interval workout of 3x1600 at 9.2 mph or 6:36 with 1 minute RI. Did 18 minute warm-up at 8:34 to 7:53. Did intervals with 1 min walk between. Then did 20 minute cool down at 7:53 with progression back up to 9 mph for the last 5-7 minutes. All at elevation of 1.

Calves are still a bit sore after run, but didn't seem to bother during run. Not sure why they get so tender after racing.
