Gave it all I had. Placed 5th in AG and won $25! That last mile is a bugger... not happy with that mile. I have done better in the past with that mile. Good speed workout for the week. Now back to training for Chicago.

Had a little tenderness in Left lower hammy - probably 7 mile hike up Mt. Caribou on Wednesday is not the best to do before the race! Finished race early enough to get a massage.

BTW - Met John Mollica, Dick Graves and Charles Kaufman (1, 2 and 3 in 60-64 AG). Graves and Kaufman asked, "Who are you?" Said they had never seen me at any races! Ha

Fro

great run Dave - congrats bringing home the bacon! Guess those guys don't do many 26.2 events... Way to represent.

Greg C

Nice work. Maybe you need to move to where the 10'th place guy in your AG apparently lives.

Scorps

Great job Dave.

Another great race, get well for Chicago.

It is amazing to see these times in this age group...this race is popular but still...all top 10 with less than a 5 minute span. Fierce competition in the aged field. Congrats Dave!
