Planned long run of 16 miles @8:36... oh well. Weather was best its been all week. Above freezing! Started out with Doug at front of the pack and wanted to reign it in a bit to get to 8:25 pace. Mostly ran behind the front group trying to hold a steady pace... lots of good hills messed up pacing but provided a great workout. Did eGel at mile 6.2 with H2O. Had 3 lemon JR's throughout run... helped!
My first time ever running over 60 miles in one week. Yikes, I did it! Coughed a bit today, but better than it has been in three weeks. Felt amazingly strong throughout the run despite the 8+ miler yesterday. Hanson trains you for "the last 16." Maybe it works?!
Drop down week to 55 this week - Easy 6 miler tomorrow, and 4x1.5 intervals on Tuesday @7:42.
