Last "long" (heh) run on the taper... next Sunday we let it all out!! Supposed to run this at 8:00, but as Forrest Gump said, "I just felt like running!" Minimal ab pain to start, though afterwards a cough hurts. Quarry Hill at mile 4. Tried to keep all miles at 7:55 or less... succeeded. That is a big deal for me! Starting to load up the carbs on Wednesday through the race. (I like carbs!) Next week at this time Lawrunner and I will be in NYC.lue
Note at 40F with slight wind, wore light tights, blue L/S NikePro Thermal Shirt and Orange Windbreaker.Felt a bit hot, but tights actually made legs feel good.
