2nd day of running this week. Took yesterday off and just did PT exercises. Mostly muscle pain yesterday from Tuesday's run... no bone aches! Ran a bit longer (7.1) at slow pace trying to hold around 9:30 to 10:00 min/mile. Also took three walk breaks for 60 secs per Jeff Galloway. Didn't feel I needed to, but wanted to give legs a break. Seemed to be good idea as I had no leg pain at all during or after run! Do I really think I can still do the marathon? If I ran at 11 min/mile pace plus walk breaks every two miles I just might do it without injury. Goal is to finish under 6 hours! What a contrast to trying to get a BQ!
