This is a turning point day. I actually enjoyed and was relaxed swimming. Never thought it would happen Cuch! After a lap and half od breast stroke to warm-up I did 25 laps (that's 50 times back and forth!!) freestyle and only stopping for 5-10 seconds at the end most of the lengths. This is huge for me. I really slowed down and relaxed and took relaxing breaths instead of life saving gasps! Seems to make a difference though I am S-L-O-W. A hot shot swimmer girl in the next lane would do two length to my 1 along with her fancy turns! I plod, and plod pretty consistently. Did both single side and bilateral breathing (which I actually think is easier). My nexk got a bit stiff from single side breathing so bilateral helped here. Around lap 10 I got a honking claf cramp in my left leg so I spent about 1 minute stretching it out and it went away. New discovery is that water goes in my right ear and bugs me! Anyway, happy with improvement over the past month. If I could get in here 2-3 x per week I believe it would be better. Now should I sign up for the Pirate...?
