Nice day for a run... Planned 15 @8:13, ended up with 16.3 with nice progression with average 8:02. This run reinforces the need to start slowly and built into the pace. For the first few miles I was sluggish, but once warmed up it was easy to maintain and keep picking up pace. Mile 12-14 were all consistent despite the hills! Tried hard to match metronome but it is hard! Left ab complained, and don't cough!

Good week overall considering all the travel and crazy schedule.Got to do some awesome trail running in AZ (after conference) and run up several very steep mountains, and run back down again. I tried to trash my quads, but they held pretty strong. Mileage is down a bit this week and did not get my planned Interval or Tempo in, but I've heard that hill running is better than intervals!

Next week is crazy again with trip to visit my folks... At least it will be warm
