Notes

Fall out from the cold from hell. Took yesterday off due to chest congestion and lots of coughing an sneezing. Thought I could pull off 15 today but the body rebelled. Ended up running with a fever... not smart. Bailed after a wicked tough 7 miler where i could just not catch my breath.Lesson learned, the wisdom says if the cold is above the neck ok to run, below the neck take the day off. Got home and was chilled to the core. Ended up going to bed for three hours trying to shake this damn thing. So... I read somewhere that researchers have determined that as runners reach 60 mile weeks they are more susceptible to colds. Is that what hit me? Or is it the lack of sleep due to three mornings up at 3:30-4:00 AM to call school off? WHo knows... Frustrated and want to get back in the groove. This 60 year old body has held up structurally, but engine has succumbed to the plague! Will take it easy this week and get back on track.

The correct answer to your questions is D) All of the above. Patience and rest for a few days and you'll be fine. Says the guy who is rarely capable of either. But still, it's true.
