So last 2 miles ave 6:55: prob 6:50, 7:00. Moved up til last 1/4 mile: eg past Robin Schmit at 1.2m Greg Poole at 1.5, Peter Lindsay (pacing friend) at 2.1, little (10) Westerhout at 2.6. Kept close to young (35) guy in red from 1.5 to 2.7. Passed group at 2.8. Repassed by big guy. Kept on his shoulder to end, couldnt outsprint him. He (60) finished in 22:14--second in 6+ to Steve Reynolds (60) at 20:09. Lost Anne at the beginning: she ran 24+? Mike c 25--just back from Bahamas! Felt strong. No strain at end. Easy to converse at 2.5 miles. No leg pain. VERY FOGGY. Temp 38. Wore tights, long shirt w sock sleeves, gloves, no hat.
