45:56 10K (7:23 ave). 14:08 2-mile (w 2 guys who then pulled away). 3-mile in 21:27 (c. 22:05 5K ave 7:06)). Good conditions: snowing but no wind. Tried to keep pace but faded. 2 guys passed me at 4 miles: wish I could have kept up with them: beat me by nearly a minute. 2nd 5K in 23:50 (7:40 ave). Strong finish but no sprint. Started with Bill Iffrig. Gained 30-40 seconds on him in first 5K, finished 70 seconds ahead. Chatted, got picture together. Don't think he realized I was 70+, since he was surprised at awards, not getting #1 medal, probably first time in several decades.
