Plan was to ease into intervals by doing 5x1k with 2:00 rest. Would have been happy starting at 4:00 and working my way down, didn't expect to run as fast as I ended up doing (3:51 average). There was some wind but it wasn't horrible, mostly felt a brisker headwind in the 2nd and first half of the 3rd rep. Didn't look at watch and ended up starting off way too hot before settling down. Kew I was slowing by the middle of the 3rd rep and was hoping to pick it up a bit in the second half of the workout but my legs just weren't co-operating. Ended up getting a bit of a side stitch at end of 4th rep which led to me running the last rep a little conservatively. Definitely had a slight bit more to give at the end. Breathing was pretty good throughout as even when it was accelerated I still felt mostly in control. Legs were pretty tired afterwards. Workout definitely bodes well for me running under 20:00 in a month.
