Drank quite a bit last night so was feeling a bit hungover this morning. There was a somewhat strong wind from the southwest, about 20 km/h so I decided to start the reps into the wind. Body felt a little sluggish to start but not too bad. Pace was pretty good for the first rep but probably pushed it a bit too much as I just couldn't find pace for the second rep even though the wind was behind me. Pushed it hard again in the 3rd rep and again relaxed too much in the fourth rep. 5th rep was quite tough as breathing accelerated maybe the last 150-200m, really tried to get pace down as much as possible. Was happy to begin final rep and started off much stronger than the previous 2 reps with the wind behind me. Continued to push hard with about 400m left as breathing accelerated. Thought I had dropped the pace a lot more as my body was responding well to the push.

Overall, somewhat pleased with workout as the wind did play a factor and I wasn't feeling the greatest heading in. Garmin again seemed to have problems giving me accurate pace as it was jumping around a lot, at times slowing despite efforts to increase pace. Rests were also quite slow as I tried to maximize recovery. Cool down went ok, not totally wrecked.

Overall average was 3:48.4
