Notes

Was feeling a little better this morning after a good sleep. Decided on trying the 6x1K workout and just taking it one rep at a time. Conditions were pretty ideal with there just being a slight wind from the southwest so the odd reps were a bit tougher. Started off a little slow but was able to accelerate without a problem and finished the first rep in a solid time. After this the goal was just to keep pushing to try to get under 3:40 on each rep. I was really working hard by the 4th rep but still under control. Legs were getting heavy and I could feeel my stride getting more choppy. Maxed out the last 200m of the 5th rep and last 400m of last rep. Was able to lengthen my stride and finish both of these reps with a negative split. In fact all reps were probably negative split. Recoveries were a little slower than last time but not too bad.

Finished with a 3:38.4 overall pace so 3.2 seconds/km faster than last time. Definitely strongest interval workout ever and should put me in shape to break 18:30. Cool down wasn't horrible.
