Got up to go for a run last Tuesday and again pulled something in my back - this time when putting on my shorts. There was spasming across the mid back but instead of getting better over the next couple of days it just got worse. The spasming let up but there was an incredible amount of tightness on the left side. Really hurt to sit or turn over. Mornings were especially bad. I went to a chiro on Friday at the Runners Academy and had some work done. It looks like my SI joint was jammed and the muscles around it tightened up severely.

Things finally started to improve a bit after the chiro visit on Monday this week - at least enough that I felt like I could attempt a run today. The run wasn't too bad, felt really awkward and there was some tightness but at least it didn't cause any more damage.
