Notes

Was pretty confident going into workout. Warmup deadlifts felt solid as I was just concentrating on power. L. said my hips were rising at 265 so I still need to keep focused on contracting hamstrings. Could feel myself tiring and 285 felt really tough lifting the weight while maintaining neutral spine. I was really working hard not to round back and 3rd rep was a true grinder. Despite this 295 felt pretty smooth so I decided to go for 305 but I had nothing and failed 2 attempts. Was able to hit the first 2 reps at 245 with a double overhand grip so grip seems to be getting a bit stronger. Knees were aching a bit and hamstring is obviously sore after. Disappointed I failed but at least my form is improving and I'm forcing myself not to get into a position where I'm lifting the weight at all costs. Also didn't experience any shaky legs despite feeling that I could have done a better job dragging the weight up my shins.

Wide Grip Pull Ups - 2x12, 1x8, 1x6

1 Arm DB Rows - 3x8x60
