Plan called for 5x600 at 5K pace with 1:30 rest. Should have been super easy at the prescribed pace but I just didn't have the energy to fight the wind today. Whenever I tried injecting some pace my legs just wouldn't respond. The wind was pretty brutal so I thought TT might provide some shelter but the wind was just battering me from the side and swirling around. The odd reps had more wind so at least I was able to do 3 reps into the tougher wind with the last one being the fastest. Didn't max out as I wanted to maintain tempo breathing. Warm up and cool down were ok although left knee is a little achy after.
