Not what I expected, legs just felt dead and I couldn't get into the workout. I thought 3:54 pace would be easily doable but ended up averaging just over 3:57. Finished a slight bit stronger than last week though. There was some wind on the even reps that seemed to sap my energy; turnover was good but stride length was stuttered. Was also a bit warmer than last week but conditions probably no worse than the 5k race. At times it felt like I had an extra gear but was afraid to use it until the very end. Metatarsals felt pretty good and little DOMS from yesterday. Hopefully I can rest a bit the next 2 days and perform better on Saturday.
