Notes

Net downhill course, was aiming for a very ambitious sub 39 but knew it was not going to happen early on. HR strap slid off at 3km so held it in hand rest of way. Course slightly different than Yonge St. as it starts closer to Eglinton leading to the Mt. Pleasant rise beginning at end of 2nd km instead of beginning of 3rd km. Cramped up severely in last 500m but still finished strong (last 400m at about 3:40 pace). Strong wind from S-SW was mitigated by the sheer number of runners so didn't play as much of a factor as originally feared. Underdressed wearing just a tank top, gloves and shorts - just never got comfortable/found my groove during the race. Knees were sore rior but OK during, PF was manageable during but a bitch pain in the ass after. Woke up tired, had negative energy throughout, determined after 7km I just wanted to come in under 39:30. Overall happy with performance all things considered.
