After a 5K slow jog, ran the 4.15K stretch along McAlpine from Graphite to the highway. Averaged about 4:16 pace which is close to a minute better than last July. However today I had a favorable wind and the warmup was shorter and way more relaxed. This stretch is hard with about 70m of elevation and 93m of downhill, but some of the downhills are steep and a lot of energy is used just to not lose control. Legs also feel like jelly with the constant up and downs.
