Fitness is definitely coming around. Started off the first 5K into the wind very relaxed as I knew this would be a longer run. Hit TT with the wind behind me but still tried to stay comfortable. Was still feeling pretty good at the lighthouse although right knee was nagging me a bit. Left knee seemed to be doing although I could feel some tension when taking a dig on an uphill. Ran the next 4K+ into the wind really starting to work hard. When I hit 15K I decided to run the last 3K fast with the wind behind me. Started the pace work around 15.25K so that km was a little slower. Finished the last 2kms strong but it was tough. Obviously I am starting to generate more power as cadence remains consistent but pace is dropping, a good 5-10 seconds/km faster than last week.
